Factor(E) is a pioneering accelerator associated with the Shell Foundation and Colorado State University that propels access-to-energy solutions into the developing world. We provide a unique blend of risk capital and world-class technical resources to support early stage ideas and entrepreneurs. We actively seek out ideas that have the potential to benefit 10 million people or more through energy access. As active investors, we provide our portfolio ventures with a suite of support activities. From technology advising and product development to business plan and fundraising efforts, we work closely with entrepreneurs to navigate through the early stages of their ventures. Through a first-of-its-kind combination of technology co-development and seed investment, Factor(E) Ventures efficiently removes risk from disruptive technologies and prepares them for growth-stage investment.
