Investment Fund

OVERVIEW

Description

Global Partnerships invests in market-based solutions that help impoverished people increase their incomes and improve their lives. We deploy mission-led capital in a range of social enterprises that deliver essential goods and services to people living in poverty, including solar lighting for households living beyond-the-grid, financial education for women entrepreneurs and market-specific agricultural services for small lot farmers.

Our social investment funds provide loan capital to partners with demonstrated, sustainable business models, which in turn helps these partners scale their services in the areas of Microfinance, Rural Agriculture, Health and Green Technology. As of 9/30/14, we have lent approximately $140 million to over 70 partners in 11 countries.
