MicroVest was founded in 2003 with the goal of building a financially sound asset management company; one that can demonstrate that investing in the aspiring middle class and their enterprises is good risk-adjusted business. MicroVest invests in financial institutions that serve their under-banked customers responsibly with appropriate products and services. Our capital is typically used for extending productive loans to micro, small, and medium enterprises as well as households. We believe providing safe, secure access to capital and savings is one of the best ways to help improve the lives of the poor.
